Funds will be dedicated to support women facing maternity and motherhood in poverty and under precarious conditions. In
particular, the Fund will supportinitiatives that:
• Address the immediate needs of expectant mothers to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery.
• Promote the mother-child bond and good childcare (proper hygiene, safety, healthy habits, etc)
• Strengthen the motherʼs self-sufficiency through education, training and income-generation.
• Decrease womenʼs physical, economical and social vulnerability.
