The Société des amis du musée national de la Légion d’honneur et des ordres de chevalerie – an association under the law of 1901 recognized as being of public utility (decree of 27-8-1984, modified on 14-06-2010) – provides considerable support for the museum’s development.
For over 50 years, SAMLHOC :
– participates in the acquisition of pieces to complete the museum’s collections;
– contributes to the organization of exhibitions;
– assists the museum’s curators in their missions of study, research, information and restoration;
