Monaco Aide et Présence (International Friends Fund)

” Monaco Aide et Présence (MAP) was founded in 1981 with the purpose of managing and financing development and humanitarian aid projects under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Sovereign Prince Albert II. MAP is currently active in 10 countries and is run by a board of 9 volunteer advisors, as well as a program coordinator tasked with managing the projects alongside local coordinators based in the countries of cooperation.
MAP’s main fields of intervention are:
– Education,
– Health
– Community Development
– Emergency Aid
MAP takes meticulous care to ensure that all projects are designed to meet the direct needs of beneficiaries, in line with their socio-cultural contexts, and aim to promote sustainable self-sufficiency. Thanks to its trusted local supervisors and regular field missions, MAP rigorously monitors the projects it supports, both internationally and locally. MAP’s strengths include:
– The patronage of H.S.H. The Sovereign Prince Albert II. 45 years of Presence.
– The support of the Monegasque Government, which covers all operating and secretarial costs.
– Reactivity in emergency situations.
– Voluntary work by local coordinators, administrators and the auditor.
– The administrators ensure that projects are monitored through regular missions to the field, at their own expense.
– 100% of donations go directly to the projects”
