Italian Friends of The Citizens Foundation TCF OdV (hereinafter also IFTCF) is a volunteer organization, based in Milan, founded in 2010 and formally established in 2013. It pursues civic, solidarity, and socially useful purposes to support the education of children from the most disadvantaged families in Pakistan, with particular attention to school access for girls, as well as the education and training of women. IFTCF also promotes intercultural exchange between Italy and Pakistan through artistic and cultural promotion activities.

IFTCF supports the work of The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a Pakistani non-profit organization that develops agents of positive change through quality education for the most disadvantaged boys and girls in Pakistan. Today, with over 300,000 students enrolled in 2,033 school units led by its over 14,000 female teachers, TCF has been recognized by The Economist as “perhaps the largest network of independent schools in the world.”
