The Foundation is a private-law institution with no profit-making purpose.
The purposes of the Foundation consist of interventions and services aimed at pursuing the following social solidarity objectives:

a) to promote cultural activities, starting from the Castle of Morsasco, in the field of the arts;

b) to organize and manage art exhibitions, including permanent ones, also within the Castle of Morsasco, and related initiatives aimed at enhancing national and international art, including through prizes, competitions, scholarships, and residential programs for Italian artists or artists habitually residing in the European Union, with particular attention to artists habitually residing in Germany;

c) to establish and manage one or more facilities or permanent activity centers, including museums, starting from the Castle of Morsasco, for the organization of cultural events and the dissemination and promotion of artistic culture;

d) to carry out and promote research, documentation, and sectoral and interdisciplinary exhibitions of national and international relevance, with particular regard to the fields of visual arts, painting and sculpture, architecture, urban planning, decorative arts, design, craftsmanship, industrial production, fashion, audiovisual, multimedia, digital and telematic production, scientific and technological development, and those artistic and creative expressions related thereto in various ways;

e) to organize national or international exhibitions and shows in the fields of activity pursued by the Foundation;

f) to enhance and expand real estate resources connected to cultural assets and activities, increasing their capacity to attract or generate movable resources of productive capital, technology, knowledge and intangible assets, human capital, while fostering entrepreneurship and the growth of businesses and organizations operating in these sectors;

g) to create or participate in the establishment of highly specialized structures for the management of enhancement initiatives and training activities aimed at the redevelopment and creation of skills related to historical and artistic heritage and cultural activities;

h) to contribute to the recovery of architectural and archaeological emergencies within the framework of territorial redevelopment processes;

i) to carry out and promote research, documentation, cataloguing, editorial and broadcasting publications of national and international importance within its areas of activity.
