The purpose of the Pro mahJ Foundation is to support the activities of the Museum of Jewish Art and History in Paris, in particular by contributing to the enrichment of its collections, by implementing any partnership action with this museum, in particular by supporting its exhibition, publishing and investment policy.
The Foundation organises all activities to promote the museum’s collections and to encouraging their development; it contributes to the diffusion of all documentation that makes the activities of the Museum of Jewish Art and History known .
The foundation organizes all initiatives with potential donors or promoters of patronage actions as well as with any donator of works likely to enrich the collections of the Museum of Jewish Art and History.
Every two years, the Foundation also awards a prize to a contemporary artist whose work is relevant to the collections of the Museum of Jewish Art and History, who then benefits from an exhibition in the Museum.
