The Public Institution of the Palace, Museum and National Estate of Versailles is a national administrative public institution
under the control of the Ministry of Culture.
The institution carries out the missions governing the historic estate of Versailles, the national estate of Marly, the palaces of
Versailles and of Trianon, all the grounds, gardens, buildings and out-buildings, the collections registered with the inventories
of the national museum of the palaces of Versailles and of Trianon and its annexes, the real tennis room and the carriage
museum together with the other collections belonging to the State of which it is the custodian.
Its head office is located in Versailles (Yvelines).
