The main goal of the association is to defend and promote the fundamental right to asylum, which is more than ever under threat in Greece and Europe. The pursuit of this goal implies above all guaranteeing access to this right for displaced persons, and in particular those in a precarious and excluded situation. Thus, the statutory object of the association is to provide them with guidance, information and individualised assistance in the course of their various procedures. With the support of legal experts, national and international licensed lawyers and trainee-lawyers, trained in legal issues encountered in mainland Greece, the association implements a comprehensive programme of legal services, provided pro bono and without discrimination, remotely and in person, to displaced persons residing in Thessaloniki and its surroundings, the main location of its intervention.
