The Centre Artistique International Roy Hart is a cultural centre inspired by Alfred Wolfsohn, Roy Hart and Roy Hart Theatre’s pioneering work on the human voice and its application in performance and related spheres. The Centre organises, throughout the year, a large number of events, from Theatre Festivals to performances, conferences and workshops. It acts as a point of reference for a body of recognised teachers and artists, based in France but also present throughout Europe, the Americas and Australia. Its brief is to preserve the heritage of its founders and promote that legacy in innovative forms. Its archives provide a unique insight into the research, artistic production and intellectual heritage of its founders and an ever-widening circle of artists and practitioners.
