Ars Lucis is dedicated to the protection, promotion, preservation and research of stained-glass windows, glass painting and historical clear glazing in the Benelux.
The important ‘Caen Collection’ with panels and windows from the 13th to 21st century is made available to Ars Lucis for research on and promotion of stained glass.
The aim is to found a museum and study center for stained glass, as such center does not exist (contrary to England (Ely), Germany (Linnich), France (Troyes, Chartres) and Switzerland (Romont)).
