About

The Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, founded 40 years ago, is made up of 23 professional musicians and is a member of the network of permanent regional orchestras. Its mission is to design and present touring classical and contemporary music programs throughout the Alpine Arc (from Geneva to Grenoble), enabling all audiences — including those considered “culturally underserved” — to discover and access this art form.

This mission is carried out through approximately 80 concerts given each year across the region, educational initiatives in schools and universities, outreach programs in hospitals, nursing homes, and detention centers, as well as original projects that highlight the region and its architectural and natural heritage, along with composers of the past, present, and future.
