Moroccan Foundation for PreSchool (FMPS)’s mission is to generalize equitable access to high-quality preschool education for all children in Morocco.
Since 2008, FMPS has been providing free public preschool education to children between the ages of four and six. It currently operates as a non-profit public utility delivering high quality
standardized education to preschool children in all 12 regions of Morocco on behalf of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
As of 2025, FMPS manages 70% of all public the free public preschool system in the Kingdom, across all regions of the country’s urban,rural and remote areas.
FMPS has a roadmap for the coming years (Atfalouna 2030) built around 3 complementary pillars:
– Operational excellence (digitalized management,assessment of children and
practices,continuous professional development)
– National and international outreach to share and promote the Moroccan preschool model
– Diversification in the early childhood sector
