The Association carries out activities of general interest in the fields of charity and social and health-related assistance, with the aim of supporting and promoting the educational and social experience that has developed around “Mondo Cometa.”Cometa is a non-profit organisation based in Como, Italy, dedicated to welcoming, educating and supporting children, young people and families, particularly those experiencing vulnerability, educational disadvantage or social exclusion.
Its primary purpose is to create opportunities for personal growth, education and employment by combining three closely connected dimensions: care and hospitality, vocational training and work. Cometa offers educational and residential support, learning pathways, vocational education and training, work-based learning and direct experiences in real working environments.
Through close cooperation with families, companies, schools and local communities, Cometa helps young people discover their talents, develop professional and personal skills and build sustainable pathways towards further education, employment and independent adulthood.
Its activities include vocational education and training, social and educational support, work-based learning, support for young people with special educational needs, and initiatives promoting inclusion, employability and active participation in society.
