Terraset deploys philanthropic capital to high-impact, under-funded climate solutions. Our
mission is to break the paralysis that prevents people and institutions from giving to climate
causes by connecting donors to solutions they care about and moving capital where it is
needed most. Less than 2% of global philanthropy currently goes to climate and Terraset exists
to change that.
We focus on three interconnected areas: (1) greenhouse gas removal by funding projects that
pull CO and other greenhouse gases from the atmosphere; (2) superpollutant elimination by
stopping methane emissions and refrigerant leaks that drive near-term warming; and (3)
emerging ideas by providing early catalytic capital to innovative pathways before conventional
markets engage.
