The purpose of the charity is to advance education for the public benefit, particularly in the fields of philosophy, psychology, sociology and comparative religion, through the study and dissemination of the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti.
Through its outreach activities, the organisation preserves, publishes and makes accessible the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti. These resources and activities are made available to the public free of charge.
It also operates a Study Centre for adults, providing a learning environment that encourages inquiry, responsibility and a lifelong engagement with learning.
Through the School, the organisation promotes a holistic and unique approach to education that supports the intellectual, emotional and overall development of the individual. Through its educational settings, school and the Study Centre, the charity seeks to foster self-awareness, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of human relationships, society and the natural world.
In addition, the organisation is responsible for maintaining its buildings, land, gardens and wider grounds, which support and enable its educational activities.
