About

The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (IYMF) is an international non-profit organisation, established by royal decree in 1991 in Brussels by Yehudi Menuhin, one of the greatest violinists and humanists of the twentieth century. The purpose of the IYMF is to coordinate and implement the cultural actions initiated by Yehudi Menuhin through concrete educational and social programmes intended to give a voice to the voiceless, aiming to contribute through arts to intercultural dialogue and social inclusion of disadvantaged and underprivileged groups of people. To achieve its mission, the IYMF implements, at national and European level, innovative projects in the following fields of action: education and training, youth, social inclusion, artistic creation and promotion of the creative arts.
