Fondation de l’Université de Lorraine

The Fondation ID+ Lorraine is dedicated to advancing research, medical innovation, education, and social progress across the University of Lorraine and the CHRU de Nancy. As a foundation, its core purpose is to foster excellence in science and healthcare, strengthen the link between research and clinical practice, and support the training of future professionals. Through scholarships, research funding, medical innovation, and outreach initiatives, the foundation works to improve patient care, promote equal opportunities for students, accelerate scientific breakthroughs, and contribute to the economic and social development of the region.

In line with its mission, the foundation is empowered to manage, commit, and disburse funds in its own name for the projects it leads—whether they fall under the responsibility of the University, the CHRU, or shared competencies. When required to ensure the successful execution of a project, the foundation may also transfer funds directly to the relevant institutional unit or partner, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and the proper use of resources for the benefit of patients, students, and the broader community.
