About

The purpose of the Chartreuse de Neuville Foundation’s preparatory association is:
 to preserve and revive the historical and architectural heritage of the Chartreuse de Neuville
in the public interest and,
 inspired by this, to work towards a society where everyone cultivates connections with
themselves, others and the world, dares to take action and contributes to inventing the future.
The Chartreuse de Neuville Foundation’s preparatory association has set itself the heritage, cultural,
social and educational mission of restoring the Chartreuse de Neuville and being at once an inspiring
resource centre, a factory of experiences and a catalyst for possibilities, inviting introspection, dialogue
and creation. At local, national and European level, it thus promotes the experimentation and
deployment of solutions that transform territories in a sustainable way and enable everyone to find
their place and take part in the world. This will be the Foundation’s objective from the moment it is
created.
As a heritage third place in a rural area, its areas of intervention can be divided into five dimensions.
