UMANI

The association develops programs and actions of general interest aimed at promoting the natural, cultural, and human heritage of Corsica and elsewhere. As part of its “Programs and Actions”, the UMANI association proposes, organizes and provides: activities, training, animations, events, calls for projects, support, conferences, demonstrations, competitions, publication of books, allowing to act, transmit, promote, share, exchange on subjects, concepts, actions, initiatives, activities of general interest on issues related to the preservation of natural, cultural and human heritage. The association also provides support to projects of general interest, private, individual, collective, or associative initiatives in line with the ethics and values of the UMANI association. This support is materialized according to needs, on the occasion of any action, idea, concept, company, activity, initiative, in any field whatsoever (cultural, sporting, educational, health, …) within the limits of financial possibilities and acceptance of applications. The actions carried out within the framework of UMANI’s programs are cross-cutting, linked to the major challenges facing the planet and the issues of the 21st century, and are transferable worldwide. Once the eligibility requirements for Foundation status have been met, the association will submit an application to the Council of State for its transformation into a Foundation. Pending the creation of its Foundation status, the “UMANI Association – Associu pè una Fundazione di Corsica” has created the AFC Umani Endowment Fund. This legal entity allows the association to receive legacies and donations.
