The primary purpose of Life4HSP is to accelerate scientific research into Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP), a rare neurodegenerative disorder, in order to improve diagnostics and treatment options for patients.
We achieve this by:
Raising funds through campaigns, donations, and corporate partnerships;
Financially supporting research institutions, primarily at the European level;
Increasing public awareness of HSP;
Building collaborative networks with medical professionals, researchers, donors, and other stakeholders.
Our ultimate goal is to delay neurodegeneration, translate scientific discoveries into effective therapies, and make these treatments accessible to all patients living with HSP.
