STATUTES OF THE FRIENDS OF THE ZURICH OPERA
A. Purpose
§ 1
The Friends of the Zurich Opera is an association pursuant to Art. 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code, with its registered office in Zurich.
The purpose of the association is to foster understanding and enjoyment of opera and ballet, to promote attendance at and the artistic work of the Zurich Opera, and to support the efforts of those involved in opera creation and performance. These objectives shall be achieved through:
a) Events;
b) Support of an international opera studio in Zurich;
c) Financial contributions from the association’s assets, and the procurement of special donations.

STATUTEN DER FREUNDE DER OPER ZÜRICH
A. Zweck
§ 1
Die Freunde der Oper Zürich sind ein Verein nach Art. 60 ff. des Schweizerischen Zivilgesetzbuches, mit Sitz in Zürich.
Der Verein bezweckt, das Verständnis und die Freude für Oper und Ballett zu wecken, den Besuch und die künstlerischen Aufgaben der Oper Zürich zu fördern sowie die Bestrebungen der am Opernschaffen und an der Opernwiedergabe beteiligten Kräfte zu unterstützen. Diese Aufgaben sollen erreicht werden durch:
a) Veranstaltungen;
b) Förderung eines internationalen Opernstudios in Zürich;
c) finanzielle Beiträge aus dem Vereinsvermögen, Erhältlichmachen besonderer Zuwendungen.
