Save the Dogs and other Animals Foundation works to combat stray animal overpopulation and improve the quality of life for owned dogs and cats, particularly in socially disadvantaged contexts. Since 2002, it has been operating in Romania, a country where stray animals represent a serious social issue. Since 2019, the foundation has also been active in Southern Italy with a free spay/neuter program in collaboration with local associations and veterinarians. In 2021, it launched the first assistance program for the pets of homeless or low-income individuals in the city of Milan.
