1. The purpose of the association is to promote art and culture, particularly at Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart. The association supports Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart in a sustainable manner and contributes to the development of the museum as an international, diverse, and inclusive institution. The purpose of the association also includes the procurement and allocation of funds for tax-privileged organizations or public legal entities engaged in the promotion of art and culture (§ 58 No. 1 AO), particularly for Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart.
2. The association pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section “Tax-Privileged Purposes” of the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung). The association operates altruistically; it does not primarily pursue self-serving economic purposes.
