The Alzheimer’s Research Foundation is the leading private funder of Alzheimer’s research in France.
It was created in 2004 by two French doctors, Professor Bruno Dubois, a neurologist specializing in Alzheimer’s disease, and Doctor Olivier de Ladoucette, a psychiatrist and geriatrician. The Foundation is located at the heart of the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital Group, close to clinical research.
The French government recognized the public utility of its work in 2016.
