The Fonds de dotation was created in order to reinforce links between science, citizens, business and industry players. The purpose of the Fonds de dotation is to receive and administer all types of assets and rights contributed irrevocably and without consideration, with the aim of allocating them, or the revenue deriving from them, to any public interest organisation that aims to develop synergies between:
– researchers in mathematics and theorical physics hosted at Institut Henri Poincaré
– people involved in education and in culture and mediation in the fields of science and technology (teachers, associations, media)
– French and foreign companies whose success relies at least in part on a high level of science serving R&D or that aim to the promotion of scientific values.
